Selected as Fellow of the Intl. Soc. for Neuroethology!

In Tom's own words 8/14/2014:

I was selected as a Fellow of the International Society for Neuroethology, a selection announced at their international convention in Sapporo, Japan two weeks ago.  This is a society devoted to the study of how neurobiology relates to behavior - circuits, sensory systems, brain function, learning, etc.  It has several hundred members and meets somewhere in the world once every two years (the next meeting will be in Montevideo, Uruguay, and the one after that probably in Brisbane, Australia).   Six fellows were announced this year.  The fellow program only began at the last meeting, where five were selected.

This is my favorite society (I have attended every meeting since the first one in 1986), so it is a very special honor to have been chosen as a Fellow.
