Summer Research Opportunities

Below are a couple Summer Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs) the Department has heard about. Please speak with your advisor or the Career Center for more information or more programs. Applications are generally due mid- to late-February.

Washington University at St. Louis - WUSTL ENDURE
Neuroscience University Summer Research Program

Stony Brook University
Both programs will be held virtually, and offer (paid) full-time research advised by a faculty member, as well as weekly professional development and social activities.

Cornell Institute of Host-Microbe Interactions and Disease (CIHMID)
Microbial Friends & Foes (MFF) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Summer Program

The Summer 2021 program is intended to operate in person, but all potential projects can be completed in-person or remotely. Should circumstances require the program to be held remotely, all program participants will be notified.

University of Delaware
Summer REU Program in Marine Science

Interns will work with faculty in a research-intensive setting on a research topic in chemical, physical, or biological oceanography, marine biology or marine geology. In addition to hands-on research experience, student support includes a $6,400 stipend, campus housing, and travel assistance. The deadline to apply is Friday February 12, 2021.
