2015 iGEM Jamboree Team Earns Bronze Medal
From September 24-28, UMBC was represented at the 2015 iGEM Jamboree held in Boston and the Retriever team earned a bronze medal for their work on remediating copper from the environment. iGEM (international genetically engineered machine) competition, based out of MIT, focuses on, and promotes public awareness of synthetic biology.
