UMBC's Career Month offers an opportunity for students to explore their professional options through workshops, employer led resume reviews, alumni panels and virtual recruiting events with employers. Each week we are featuring a different industry:
· April 5-9: Creative Careers (Media, Arts & Communications)
· April 12-16: Social Science & Humanities (Advocacy, Social Services, Education, Law & Policy)
· April 19-23: Research, Healthcare, Biotech & the Environment
· April 26-30: Computing, Engineering, Business & Data Analytics

Career Month Workshop – Getting Started in Research

Are you interested in finding a research position but are unsure where to start? Do you think you need research experience to find research experience? If so, attend this session to learn how to start and the skills you need! Hear from a panel of UMBC research interns (current and alumni) talk about how they obtained their research experience.
