"Perfect Your Pitch" Practice Session Drop-In Day - Thursday, February 17th - 11 AM - 2 PM
At UMBC's Spring Virtual Career & Internship Fair (February 25th), you'll have an amazing opportunity to meet dozens of hiring employers. But what if you've never been to a virtual career fair? Then consider stopping by the "Perfect Your Pitch" practice session!
This is your chance to get familiar with UMBC's career fair platform AND get tips and advice from our expert Career Center staff. We invite you to stop by this virtual career fair simulation for just a few minutes to explore the platform, chat with a career advisor, and even practice your pitch. All students are welcome! No worries! This is a low-pressure event designed to help you feel confident and ready for the upcoming virtual fair. We are happy to help you brainstorm what to say when interacting with employers, and can also answer questions and share general tips.

The BEYA STEM Virtual Career Fair and Conference starts Thursday, February 17th!
Open to ALL Students (undergraduate and graduate)
Jobs--full-time, part-time, internships and graduate admissions
This event is sponsored by Career Communications Group (CCG) and is part of their large annual conference. Representatives from several major corporations and universities will be available to meet virtually with students pursuing careers in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields as well as Business, Finance, and Marketing. Why should you participate?
Registration is required. Although the registration deadline was Friday, February 11th, you may still register to participate! Please allow about 15-30 minutes for your registration to be activated and to gain access to the platform.
