The Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Maryland is excited to announce a new summer internship opportunity: REU BRiDGe.

BRiDGe is a ten week (June 6- August 12, 2022) research experience where undergraduate students will work in teams to research real world problems, with unknown answers, in cutting-edge areas of bioinformatics, including metagenomics, machine learning, single-cell RNA sequencing, parallel computing, and phylogenomics. This experience is funded by the NSF, and students will receive a $6000 stipend, in addition to food and housing.

Undergraduate students interested in the intersection between biology and computational/mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply!
