Congratulations to Biology Grad Student Claudia Gualtieri!
The Biology Department would like to congratulate Claudia Gualtieri who passed her prelim today. The title of her project is "Investigating the Roles of Candidate Autism Genes in Synaptic Pruning in Drosophila melanogaster". The committee comprising Dr. Paola Bellosta (all the way from Italy!) and Drs. Sutton, Cronin, and Starz-Gaiano from our Bio department unanimously agreed on the excellent scientific spirit of our new PhD candidate.
