There are no test tubes, petri dishes or microscopes in Ivan Erill’s research lab. No chemical cabinets or safety goggles. In fact, this room on the first floor in the Biological Sciences Building at UMBC looks more like a typical office: a bunch of desks, computers, and swivel chairs.
