Akua Nimarko to attend 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting

Akua Nimarko, senior Meyerhoff/HHMI/MARC Scholar and Goldwater fellow, has been selected to attend the 65th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting to be held from 28 June to 3 July 2015, in Lindau, Germany. Only the 650 most qualified young scientists worldwide can be given the opportunity to share the unique atmosphere of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Akua currently is doing research in Dr. Weihong Lin’s laboratory in our department to identify putative receptors for xenobiotic detection in the nose using quantitative PCR under a URA award.
