Intern Success Week - November 1st - 5th

Ready to land your dream internship in 2022? Join us for UMBC's annual Intern Success Week, designed to provide you with the tools you need to obtain that awesome internship, co-op, or research experience. Undergraduate students of ALL majors are invited!   All years/majors welcomed! For full details and to RSVP, click here.

EVENTS: 

• Intern Panel - TODAY -Tuesday, Nov., 2 - 5 PM - 7:30 PM -- IN PERSON - Skylight Room - The Commons
  Come here a panel of four UMBC interns as they share how they landed their internship as well as tips and strategies for how to be successful as an intern. Boxed dinner provided. Enter our raffle drawing for awesome prizes from Starbucks, UMBC Bookstore and Grilled Cheese & Co.!  Registration is required.  
• Employer Panel- Wednesday, Nov. 3 - 12pm-1pm -- VIRTUAL
  Join this event and hear from employers as they share what they look for when they hire interns and provide tips for how to stand out during your internship. 
• Getting Started in Undergraduate Research- Thursday, Nov. 4th, 12pm-1 pm - VIRTUAL
  Attend this virtual session to find out how and where to find research positions and details about the application process, deadlines and the many benefits of doing research. Presented by: Dr. April Householder, Director of UMBC Office of Undergraduate Research and Prestigious Scholarship
