The discoveries and inventions of the pharma/biotech industry have positively influenced human existence in many ways. They have:

  • increased life expectancy
  • improved survival rates for those suffering from deadly diseases such as cancer and heart disease
  • allowed physicians to diagnose diseases and disorders more accurately and quickly
  • generally improved human health

Did you know that the pharmaceutical industry is one of the fastest growing industries today?  Were you aware that the MD/VA/DC region has the highest number of pharmaceutical companies in the nation?

Come to this lunchtime seminar and hear from a panel of individuals who work in the pharmaceutical industry – from research, to manufacturing to sales. Listen as they share how they found their experiences and hear about the cutting-edge work they are doing.  All majors – both undergrad and graduates -- are welcome! Registration is NOT required!
